Captain Chris Ricci at your service! My aim is to give you the highest quality outdoor experience available. I have been catching fish since the age of 2. There is no substitute for time on the water. That is what it takes to consistently find your target species of fish.
Navajo Lake is a diverse fishery. We can target Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Crappie and/or Bluegill using a variety of baits and techniques. I am a licensed, bonded, insured and registered outdoor guide with more than a decade of experience on Navajo Lake.

What to Bring
- Weather appropriate clothing. Runs are cold in the morning. Days are hot in the summer. Be prepared for sun, rain and wind. We will fish in the rain. We will not fish in lightning or severe weather.
- Your own snacks/lunch. I will provide water and soft drinks.
- A valid New Mexico Fishing License. One-day licenses are available online starting at $12
What We Provide
- All tackle and safety equipment. Please let your captain know if you prefer spinning or baitcasting gear, as well as the number and sizes of life jackets you will need in the boat.
- Fish cleaning.
- Guidance and instruction for all ages and abilities.

Your Captain
Captain Corky Corcorran, with over three decades of professional guiding experience, has built a reputation as one of the Southwest’s most knowledgeable and approachable fishing guides. His career has taken him around the world and ultimately to the remarkable waters of Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico.
Today, Corky focuses much of his guiding on Navajo Lake. Corky enjoys working with anglers of all abilities—from first-time fishermen learning the basics to experienced anglers seeking technical insight and local knowledge. His guiding philosophy centers on creating a relaxed and rewarding experience where guests can learn, improve their skills, and enjoy the incredible landscapes of the
Southwest.
When guiding, Corky emphasizes safety, conservation, and respect for the waters that support the region’s world-class fisheries.
